Our coursegivers

Courses at Bonaparte are always led by our members. All of our members attend Bonaparte's debate night roughly weekly, and they also participate in tournaments and workshops. Before they are allowed to teach courses, they receive internal training and observe other course leaders. Below you can see some of our members who teach courses and what experience they have.

Kai Stouthart

Kai has extensive experience judging at several international tournaments, including the European Championships. As a student ambassador of the UvA, for which he regularly goes on school visits, and as an assistant teacher of theater at his old high school, Kai is well suited to teach courses to high school students. Having also debated at De Nederlandse Debatclub, he has experience debating and leading discussions in the business world.

Daan Zieren

For years Daan has been debating at a high competitive level and by now he has seen almost every tournament in the Netherlands and surrounding areas. He has also been teaching debate classes at his own high school for a long time. However, that is not his only expertise. As Debate Commissioner, Daan has taught many courses and workshops internally, making him very comfortable teaching in front of a group of students as well.
