The 27th board of Bonaparte is a motivated and capable team that wants to bring more energy to both the social events and the debating at ASDV Bonaparte. The board members have a lot of experience with debating and organizing activities both domestically and internationally, and they will certainly bring fun traditions to us.
Emily Rödel - Chair
This is Emily, the chair of the 27th board. She’s from Germany and started competitive debating about four years ago in high school, and she still enjoys participating in tournaments regularly! Outside of debating, you can find her at both the UvA and the VU, as she’s pursuing two degrees: psychology and mathematics. Emily is a true go-getter and looks forward to seeing you all at the debate evenings!
Joie Rouwendaal - Secretary/Vice-chair
Being the treasurer on the board last year was so much fun that Joie has decided to do another year on the board, this time as secretary. As the only Dutch member on the board, she will do her best to keep the Dutch ‘spirit’ alive within the association. Besides debating, she has started her master's in Mathematics at the UvA and enjoys being creative. Joie brings not only order and organization but also a unique energy and love for both numbers and debate.
Veronika Vancheri - Debate Commissioner
Veronika is now on her third year in Bona and first year on the board. Easy to recognise because of her boundless energy and puffy hair. Passionate about organising and ordering people around, she will make sure that all Bona evening and tournaments are on point and on definitely on time. Don't hesitate to go to her for any tournament and debate related question!
Taya Tveritina - PR Commissioner
Taya joined Bona about six months ago and, before she knew it, she landed a spot on the board which she was all in for. She’s a Business & Economics major at Erasmus University Rotterdam, but her heart definitely beats for marketing, so taking on the PR commissioner role felt like a perfect fit. Now, she’s all about bringing in more awesome people like yourself to join Bona and making sure everyone feels welcome here. Her warm personality and positive energy are sure to make that happen!
Roza Bracic - Social Commissioner
This is Roza, your Social Commissioner here to keep your social calendar packed with exciting events. Now in her 3rd year of studying Mathematics at the VU, she knows the value of taking a break, and is dedicated to creating spaces where students can unwind and connect. She discovered her love for debating in high school, but didn’t expect just how much fun it could be until she joined Bonaparte. Huu Minh Khoi Dang - Treasurer
Meet Khoi, your Treasurer, here to ensure your budgets are as robust as your social calendar. Now in his 2nd year of studying Economics and Business Economics at UvA, he has a keen interest in financial markets and investment strategies. Khoi discovered his passion for budgeting and finance in high school, where he often found himself captivated by the intricacies of economic theory. Little did he know that joining Bonaparte would allow him to blend his analytical skills with his love for fostering debate community. Have a brilliant idea?
